About how long does it take for someone to recieve results from a DNA test?

Any other information useful information on DNA testing and websites that would tell about the human genome project.
Also is it already a law in some states to be tested this way before being sentenced for a crime committed?

It takes about 1wk for the results.Nope U can be in jail 4 years before they even offer something like this a friend of mine was there 18 months before he got released.Good Luck
