Don’t you think that the whole cheap show has not doing to do with justice, but intended as political ploy to somehow legitimize US presence in Iraq and rally the support of the Shia majority? Crimes against humanity and mass killings targeting innocent civilians are being committed and basic rights are being denied almost on a daily basis in many parts of the planet and culprits are treated as dignitaries, granted political support and sometimes hailed as model democrats for the sake of political expediency. And we the ignorant fools are applauding the vulgar farce just like our ancestors in the Middke Ages used to cheer the burning of witches and heretics on the stake.

It is quite revolting to witness this atavistic resurge of primitive and morbid cravings for mob lynching. Middle Ages revisited.

Of course S.H. should be judged, conditional upon a fair trial and impartiality on the part of the local politicians. What I don't accept is the exploitation of the event for cheap political gains and the detestable reactions of the ignorant rabble. In a civilized world we do not hurl abuses and insults at convicted murderers.

Yeah..I think that sums it up nicely...the sad part is the way some American people celebrate such things. Even if it were justice it would be repulsive to throw a party and celebrate the execution of a human being.

The judge and jury at Saddam's trial are probably liberals. --Anything to keep the peace and make the people happy. It's also in the human nature to want to watch and hear gory details. We're fascinated by it. If the United States would constantly get involved in all these "crimes against civilians" in other parts of the world, I can just imagine what people would say then. They can't even stand the thought of us and Iraq.

How ought to helping a undemanding murderer ever be "ethical" (different than, of direction, interior the eyes of politicians who stood to line their wallet properly from such institutions)? I heard there replaced right into a photograph circulating on youtube a number of years in the past that confirmed a photograph from 1991 of Osama bin weighted down sitting at a picnic table at Bush's Crawford Ranch in Texas. Ten years later, he's international Enemy #a million. If that image replaced into genuine (i could in no way locate it), what the hell somewhat is going on?

Conspiracy theorist!!!!
Why can't you see it for what it is. The man tortured and killed so many people, how would you feel if one of your family members was one of his victims? I think that you would differ in opinion. All this BS about the US using SH for their own gains is just that, BS. The man is evil, ok? People like him do not abide by the rules, so you can't deal with them in the same manner. Yah it may not be right to poke our nose in other peoples business, but if we didn't from time to time, the world would probably be without the Jewish population. Think WWII, D-Day, etc. Sometime other people need our help. If we didn't help other people (think Iraqi's) It would be you same liberal, US hating, politically correct people b******* because the evil government did nothing to save them from genocide conducted by their own leader. War sucks, its a fact, but sometimes we have no choice. You can't sanction people like SH. Talking doesn't work with them. They dont abide by the rules, so you have to go into their elemnet and play the game by their "rules", or else you get obliterated.

Let me see if I get this straight. You seem to be saying that because some bad guys are treated so nicely, we can't judge any bad guy at all.

It would be nice if every despot was put on trial for his crimes, but it isn't going to happen. So we will just have to be happy for the ones that we can get, and not worry too much about the ones that we can't.

What qualifies you to pass judgement on the integrity of the Judges and the court?

You are just an idiot making unqualified ramblings and offencive remarks on a subject you clearly no very little about. Get a life son.

I was thinking along these lines myself and wondering if Saddam's guilty verdict had anything to do with these election thingys currently going on in America, Bush needs a boost and voila, suddenly the war in Iraq is justified coz 'Saddam is a guilty man'.

In my opinion Saddam Hussein is a muderer and keeps his personality and his sons including his relatives in safety. Any way he got his doings according to the Bible says. But in my opinion it is better to jail until he will pass rather to take him to cross, because he is too old person.
