With the Wii on its way, and the end of the GameCube in sight, how would you summarize it's run

It could have done better. It had RE4 and Super Smash Bros. but It was over looked as a kids system. It didn't have a title that made people want to go buy it. XBOX had Halo and Playstation had GTA III. So it had a few good games but it could have done better.

Just for the record the GameCube has a lot of fun titles to choose from. Very little people know this but it was also able to play games online. Just because it was more family oriented doesn't mean it was appealing for the masses. Also Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach made quite the impression as street ballers in "NBA Street V3" and snowboarders in "SSX On Tour".

I personally like the gamecube. Its easy to play. We will be getting the new Nintendo when it comes out, but most likely my husband will hoard it and take it on the road with him, so I will continue to play the gamecube

It did great, But it didn't do well because it had hardly any gamecube exclusives that drove it on the map.

gamecube will probably still be there cause Wii of course is gonna cost alot of money but i hate gamecube!!!!!!!!

terrible ti cant believe i acctually baught one at launch and another one 2 yrs ago when the origional broke. there were practically no good games and nearly all of them had that kiddie feel where its so easy and so generic.
i really like nintendo though and my ds i really cool

I personally think it is a bad system it is not innovative the graphics are mediocre and the only good thing about it is Mario.

Its kool it may not hav the best graphic game but they do hav alot of nintendo games lik mario and stuf lik that and it has the legend of zelda games.Plus who doesnt lik nintendo?

It's good. I've had it and you can play cool games on it. For me I prefer xbox360 or ps2.
