What you need is an FM transmitter. This is a neat device that will let you use your car radio as a receiver for your Ipod. This is how it works: you plug the FM receiver into your ipod and you tune it to an unused setting like 88.3 FM 91.9 FM. Then you turn on your radio and tune it the setting you set on the FM transmitter on and there you go! Your ipod is playing thru your radio player in your car!

One note: The quality of the FM transmitter you buy will determine how good your reception can be....so if you go to Wal Mart and buy the cheapest thing they have you probably won't enjoy listening to your ipod in your car. So spend a little more and get a good transmitter....it's worth it!

No not a CD adapter. You cant have a cord hooked to it like a cassette can. But there is an FM transmitter, it works from the cig lighter I think.

you can also wire it directly into the aux channel of your car stereo. but im thinking if you had the wherewithall to do that, you would know the possibility of an fm tranceiver.
