Its nice to understand that we do like each other. Its not an easy task to stay that way.

The wife and I have only been married a little over a year, but we have been together for over 6 years. We are very happy and the key to our happiness is that we are best friends as well as lovers.
Its weird, we don't have alot in common though. But that may be part of it too. We both are allowed and encouraged to have our own lives besides all the time we spend together. Just like this weekend. She took off to go hang out with a girlfriend about 300 miles away while I kept the kids for 4 days. I have my own 3 day weekend scheduled for the end of the month.
Give and take, that's what its all about

My husband and I have been married for 29 years and have known each other for 32 years. We are very happy together. We not only love each other, but like each other as well. We have many activities we enjoy doing together yet we each have our own interests and hobbies. We've had plenty of ups and downs, difficulties and good times over the years, but we are committed to each other, our marriage, and our family.

now this is not really an answer to the question.. but i have to add that it makes me think a lot when i read all the happy answers i read here. i was happy! i married the best man out there... its been 4 years and im not even sue i want to be here anymore. i dont know where it went wrong, but my feelins for him went away and its killing him (cause he loves me just like he did when we said yes!) and its killing me cause i feel so damn guilty.. and then so many people tell me that that is just the way marriage is and you have to work at it.. forever...
i dont want to work on it forever.. i want to be happy... and for me to see that someone can say they have been married for 30 some add years and are still happy makes me think if i should just drop this and get out and look for something better?! am i giving up to easy? i dont know? im worried that i mught regret leaving... or staying.... very confused, eh?

I have been married 11 years and I love him more now than I ever have. It seems like each day just gets better. We are always together and we respect each others space and alone time. We laugh and tease and do silly things to make the other one laugh. It doesn't take money to be happy just a little ingenuity.

I am very much inlove with my husband. Eversince we got married, he completed me. We both like to flirt with each other, at home or in public. We both like to go on a date and pretend that we are still “dating” like before we got married. On top of everything that we do for each other, he is my very bestfriend… I don’t think I can go back and living my life without him by myside. He’s everything to me and I wouldn’t trade him for ANYTHING or ANYONE in this world. I never met anybody quite like himm either. He shows so much love, but yet, still I can’t get enough of it.
I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband.
The day I said, “I do” to him was one of the things I have done in my life that I’m very proud of!

I've been married a year and I can't imagine my life without my husband. He is wonderful and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him. It hasn't been an easy year but he's my best friend so I'm in it for the long haul.

I do. I've been married for five years to the most wonderful man in the world, he's my confidant, my best friend, he's a loving father, a fantastic lover, he's helpful and considerate; and we are both convinced that we are made for one another... Lucky me! :o)
