Is this up hill or down hill driving? Wind from the back or front? How many Gallons/Liters the tank hold? There are very many variables involved and the Window Sticker people believe it not always true for that individual vehicle. To know how your car do, write down the mileage when you fill the tank. Next time you fill the tank, write both the mileage and the Gallons/Liters you fill it with. Subtract the two mileages to know how many miles you have driven. Then Divide by the number of Gallons/Liters and this give you some idea. Remember, City driving and Freeway driving will give different results. You can do a City MPG and one day you go out of town do a Freeway MPG. Good Luck.

I have always understood it that the auto engineers planned for about 300 miles. I think that this idea faded away in the late 70's. There are many factors that impact the range of a tank.

fill tank noting milage
drive till tank is nearly empty
fill tank again noting milage
divide mile driven by gas needed at 2nd fill-up
example 367 miles driven on 25 gallons of gas.
367 divided by 25 equals 14.68 miles per gallon and 367 miles on that tank.

never recommendations the gas mileage. there's a reason Ford no longer makes the three.8. It replaced into rubbish. they could never get the top gasket situation resolved and it relatively is not a inexpensive restoration. Now their 3.0 is a great engine and that i placed almost 400k on it with genuinely no issues. in case you like issues and mediocre gas mileage get the vehicle. in case you do no longer shop finding

it all depends on the engine and fuel consumption and if you're driving it hard or stuck in traffic or doing a lot of braking
to find the answer that you are looking for, it would help to be more specific like telling us what car you have to get the specifications that you want.
