on friday, my friend celynne told me that she really doesn't like my other friend Lynette. I was ok with that cuz celynne can say watever but then she started telling me that she feels like Lynette is the one controlling the relationship between me and lynette.and she also feels like ly is treating me badly and is too clingy because she doesnt have any friends besides me. Celynne also told me that she called me a ***** behind my back which is not cool. I was always nice to her and hanged out with her. so today we usually eat dinner together every nite. And I really didnt feel like talking to her. so I just didnt call her. So i just ate dinner with my other friend Jane because she was going through some problems. So then when we got back she came into our room. We had a weird moment...I just didnt want to talk to her so totally lied to her and Jane made it even worse. She left looking kinda angry. But I just really needed space. I dont no wat to do. wat can i tell her.

There are two possibilities here and both involve controlling you:

1) Celynne is jealous and trying to make you choose between her and Lynette.

2) Celynne is correct and Lynette wants you all to herself, and in fact expects it.

I've lived through both these things, sometimes more than once. You can ignore it, you can try to get to the bottom of it, but more than likely somebody is going to have to leave the mix.

And it may have to be you, because there is actually a third possibility where BOTH 'friends' are trying to control you.

Only you know what the history and attitudes with each of these friends is based upon. Only you can evaluate it and make a decision regarding it. Regardless, the gauntlet has been thrown down by Celynne and you can't ignore it no matter how much you may like to.

So take your time, and if one or the other or both try to force your hand - well, they've just made your job easier by showing their disregard for your own needs.

Don't, I repeat DON'T rush into this. Even making out (heavily) with a guy can lead to the next step VERY quickly. Until you know you can control the situation and keep it from escalating to that, it's a good idea to avoid those situations altogether. Hey, you've done it this long, what's another 5-10 yrs, right! Take it from me, as someone who got pregnant at 15 (28 now), you don't want to take that chance. It's harder than you could ever imagine or anyone could ever tell you. Please don't learn the hard way like I did. You'll look back and be proud of what you were able to overcome and do, believe me :)

I had a clingy friend just like that but I think I did the wrong thing by telling her to "back off, you stalker!". Oops. Don't make the same mistake I did. Instead, if you want your friendship with Lynette to end, try to break it gently to her. It may seem hard, but plan out what you say and possible responses to her comebacks. Don't bring up past fights (though it is VERY tempting), don't call her mean names (no comment) and ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY do not YELL! Sorry. Anyway, hope your problem is resolved as peacefully as possible.

You need to talk to Lynette. In person.

You need to find out if Celynne is telling the truth. Maybe Celynne is jealous of Lynette and is trying to turn you against her so you can spend all of your time with Celynne.

Talk to both girls about what you have heard and ask them both what is going on. What how they answer questions. If they don't want to look at you, or look to their right sides, they are lieing. People also get angry or defensive when they want to cover something up as well.

You should know your friends well enough to know when they are not being honest with you. Find out the truth, then make the decision as to which girls you want to keep as friends. You never know, it could get all sorted out and everyone could get along. Or you might have to stop talking to one or both of them.

You need to get both of your friends together and talk this out. Celynne is acting like a hypocrite because if all three of you are friends then she's not supposed to be behaving like this. If you really like your friends and want to relieve the tension and the stress, just talk things out calmly and rationally. Be careful and be sure to have an open mind about the entire sutuation. Good Luck!!!!!!

Just talk to your friend lynette and ask her if she said that sometimes its a misunderstanding..i wouldn't ignore her because that doesn't solve anything..you should really consider just talking with all three of them.
