sometimes when i try to put it on the bottom lashes, i might get little dots of it down on the skin under the eye where i dont want it. how do i also make it look like a thin line instead of looking dotted? ive seen people do it, but im not quite sure how...

Hold the brush vertically and sweep back and forth across the lashes. As in side to side.

I try to look up and just dab it lightly on the lower lashes. It helps if you take a tissue and wipe the excess off of the wand before applying.

Come up from the bottom of the lower lash to dab on the ends. Don't start at the root of the lower lash by sweeping downward. Start with the tips of the lash and gently sweep upward.

hold the brush horizontaly and then tip it at about a 20* angle. then LIGHTLY pull the brush down on your bottom lashes. do it a couple times to get the color on.

on the other han, dont worry about the dots, just wet the tip of a Q-tip and swipe it over the mascara on your skin.

One solution is not to put mascara on your bottom lashes. Maybe use a soft eyeliner and smudge. If you tend toward dark circles you might want to skip mascara on your bottom lashes all together. Mines are so sparse I just don't.

Buy a tooth comb style mascara. Rimmel and I think Maybeline have one out. It is soooooo easy to apply :)

First put on some eyeliner. Then very very carefully apply the mascara.
