Can having a sore throat and running a fever of 100.0 being throwing off my OPK strips?

My OPK has been pretty close to the control line in color today and then faint in color later. And before you ask yes I did it right and no they are not expired.

Getting sick can supress ovulation and therefore it would stand to reason that your body knows it's sick and wants to delay ovulation so the lh production is slowed to allow recovery. I'm not saying for sure this is what happened to you, just what I've heard can happen.
