my cuzin just got his license last week he is 16 and i am 15. i have a girlfriend who is 15. my cousin took me and my gf along with many others to a party and he was going to give me a ride back home. so we go from a house party to another party 2 blocks away. he gave us a ride. i was very thirsty and somebody offered me beer in a cup (im underage) and i drank a couple sips and my gf got mad and started ignoring me. my cuzin got mad was so upset that they were both ignoring me and i wanted to show them they cant tell me what to do. i once told my gf i wouldnt do anything if she told me only if she asked. so i drank a can (ONLY 1 CAN OF BEER) in front of their faces. they get even more mad. then my cuzin and my gf leave the party and ditch me their with no way home. the neighborhood was very unsafe with alot of gangs. and it was 10 at night and my home was 2 miles away. they ditched me and to make things worse my cousin made my gf walk to the other party at night. who was wrong?

i was NOT drinking in the car. another reason i drank was because i was very upset that my girlfriend and cousin were ignoring me. plus everybody (including them) always says im too serious so i wanted to loosen up a little bit. it was only one beer i didnt ruin the party nor did my attitude change. also my girlfriend has the habit of trying to tell me what to do and ive told her numerous times that im not going to do anything unless she asks and she was trying to tell me what to do. also my cousin has been acting very cocky since he got his license. besides his dad, nobody else he knows has a license so he think hes big now and can tell me what to do because he can drive. he ditched me because he was trying to tell me what to do and i didnt listen so he tried to take away my ride. and then after they left they did not call MY CELL PHONE until an hour later. i was so angry. i believe the punishment did NOT fit the crime however my girlfriend still thinks she was right.

you were wrong for drinking in the car, and underage. i don't blame your cousin for leaving you, he did not want someone drinking in the car which is also against the law. you both could have been in big trouble for your dumb actions. he could have lost his driving privileges. where were your parents?

Your cousin (learn to spell, son) was wrong by making a lady walk to the other party by herself in an unsafe neighborhood but otherwise you, sir, are entirely in the wrong. Drinking is first off a horrible thing for the body. It negatively effects every organ of your body and at your age you cannot afford that; you are still developing. You cannot risk it yet. Furthermore the law must be respected. The Lord in Heaven said to the effect that as long as the laws of the land do not contradict His Laws then you are to obey them. Lastly if your cousin was pulled over for some reason or another and the cops smelled the alcohol on you he could get in trouble for several reasons. Point is; avoid alcohol but if you must drink then just wait, no need to rush maturity. You'll learn later on that youth is not to be wasted. So take some time, think more in depth about this issue and look forward to a future of sobriety and success.

They were wrong. You was right. If I were you, I would have done the same thing, but the underage drinking is against the law. Hey when you are very thirsty, you will drink anything except toxic.

All are OK. Have more drink and if you get a hand on your girl friend spend the night with her. all will be Ok.

they were worng for leaving you in an unsafe situation, but you were wrong for drinking underage, either way they still should not have left you.
