i have the trojan virus and i have mcafee scann it like 20 times it wont quarintine it what do i do

1. Turn off your computer.
2. After turning it on, press F8 as quickly as possible.
3. Select "Boot in safe mode"
4. Log in and run McAfee.

That should take care of it!

If all of the other good sugestions fail, I recommend that you remove Mcafee, and please stay away from Nortons. The are hogs on your resources and have been garbage for many years. An each an every year they continue to get worse. Neither knows a virus when one is found, any both are unable to remove anything even if they say it has been removed, it is still in your system.

Here is an excellent free antivirus that I have used for nine years an I never had one virus in my system.

http://www.avast.com This company is out of Prague. They have an excellent state of the art background scanner that really works. Would have detected your trojan and destroyed the trojan in real time. Plus you get frequent daily auto. updates two or three times per day. You can download their free home for personal use. Their corporate version is the very same, they just make corporate pay.

They will ask you for your email address so they can send you a free key that is good for one year. After one year you just ask for a new key.. This program in my personal opinion is light years ahead of any other purchased or free antivirus. Performs as cliamed.
