GL has greater range, more speed, and can use the ring to shield himself from psionic attacks (both having his sense played with and getting his heart squeezed.) Hey, Hal Jordan beat Sinestro, so he could beat Darth Vader!
Except for the bood relationship, Sinestro is to Hal Jordan as Darth Vader is to Luke Skywalker...! Need I say more?

Green Lantern probably wins this one. Better range, more power and less limitations. The only way Vader could win is if he Force Choked GL into unconsciousness before he shattered Vader's armor.

Actually, for this one (as tough as it is) I'd have to go with Darth Vader for one simple reason:
While Green Lantern might (MAYBE) have more raw power available than Darth Vader does, there's one important factor - Darth Vader doesn't need to recharge his ring after 24 hours the way Green Lantern does........

oooo green lantern cuz he is the good guy.. although darth vader has this force thing going on for him. according to my son he thinks GL would win cuz he has a power ring and it allows him to put up a force field and darth vader only has a light saber.

Darth Vader- He could just block the Green Lantern's ring with his light saber, and then he'd just choke lantern with the force.
