i am looking forward to purchase new rotors for my 01 maxima. and would like to know your experience with Cross Drilled Slotted Rotors and Blank brembo rotors. i have heard mixed reviews on cross drilled slotted rotors some says that they crack easily etc? now the wuestion is...should i go for blank rotors or the cross drilled slotted ones? thanks in advance.

Cross drilled rotors are known to crack because of heat and the lack of mass that they have compared to OEM or slotted rotors.

ther than helping to stop your car, rotors act like a heat sink. Cross drilled rotors have less mass to dissapate heat, and they are only useful when installed with the holes facing the correct way. IMO they are really just for looks.

Slotted rotors work best when it comes to reducing brake fade.Brembo rotors are a bit better because they use a really refined cryogenic process.
