Walmart is soldout, best buy is not taking orders... has anyone successfully ordered it yet?

Darok57 lives in a cave an obviously is oblivious to the world outside. Dude, check the news, or go to the mall or something...
The Wii is the hottest thing right now. Check Google videos to see the line at E3 for the Wii vs PS3 (hundreds and hundreds vs a half-dozen people). South Park featured "Wii-steria" recently. I was out in NYC on sat Nov 3rd and stopped by the Nintendo World Store just because I've never been there...The line just to play the Wii was around the block! Yep, there was a 5 hour wait, just to play the Wii for 4 minutes!
Nobody cares about the PS3...not even developers. Look at the Wii launch lineup vs. The PS3....Nintendo has over 60 games! PS3 has less than a dozen.
AND why the hell did Sony decide to eliminate rumble in the PS3 controllers??? Its sad, I am the biggest PS2 fan, but I will not touch the $600 PS3 untill ti goes on sale 50% in 2008.

EBgames might have some left. Just google search "Wii Pre-order" you're probably going to have to buy a bundle though.

you can peorder from any game store almost, however I don't think the nintendo wii should sell out, there will be plenty left the next day for you to get one, the only upcoming game system that will sell out is the playstation 3.

gamestop is not taking preorders. My roommate works there. This also means that EB wont either. As they are owned by the same company.

they may take your order and money online, but you may not get it in time - they will say it is backordered.
My advice, pack a breakfast and lunch and bring a chair!
