jesus doesn't have anything to do with government...(or anything else, but that's a topic for "religion and spirituality)
Honestly, the best solution to the nation's problems (and the world's) would be to end the bitter partisan splits that now exist, and get all parties (even the minor ones) to agree on compromises for the common good. Doing so has happened in America's past, though rarely...and I fear we're so polarized right now that it's just not possible...but I can dream :)

speaking for my little part of the world, please leave us alone and sort out your own problems first. it's bad enough you dragged my country into the iraq mess without believing that you can solve everyone elses problems. america caused most of the worlds current problems with it's foreign policy during the cold war. this attitude is why people don't like america in the modern world.
