It couldn't hurt to contact customer service about it. You may find ways to avoid the problem in the future.
By the way....I checked out your earlier question and see your point. Maybe it would have helped to make it clear that you were directly quoting the newspaper and to have put a link to the article in your post. More than likely, someone did not read it carefully and reacted to the word rather than the information. Remember, its not like you lose anything on here for the violation (a few points).

Actually, it's worse than a brick wall. No matter what you say you will get a generic, all-purpose response that goes,

"Thank you for writing to CA Answers.

the Yahoo! Community Guidelines and will take appropriate action.

At least you know what "violation" you committed. I've had question like "what did you eat for lunch?" deleted with no other reason than "violation of community guidelines." huh?

Yeah, you will probably be talking to a brick wall. The funny thing is that the "violation" is a very lame one; I have seen much worse stuff on YA that never gets reported.

That's ok, I got cited for saying that I liked my mom's pumpkin pie. The question was what's your favorite pie.

Some people have no life and have to report every little thing that could be minutely construed as offensive.

Buddy forget about it.

It means nothing except some points gone.

I think it is more like hollering down a well, but the same effect. You put forth your best defense and......... nothing.
