I would get a professional welder to weld the aluminum seams. That way the trailer will still look good. But if not a caulking of some kind from the lumber yard.

Go to a RV service shop and ask for Flow seal C-10 or Dyco brush on sealer. It is specifically made for aluminum roofs and it doesn't dry out and crack. The flow seal is a self leveling sealer that comes in a tube and it will get where it need to go to seal the roof, the brush on stuff is just as good only you brush it on instead.

go to your hardware store and ask for a product called VULCUM it's a vulkanized rubber (in atube for calking guns) it's easy to apply and can last 15 to 30 years!!! I'm in construction and we use it alot to seal rain gutters works awsome...
