Registered Nurse Here: You've taken tylenol PM, no more over the counter medications, many have some of the same ingredients and you will injest to much. This is a toughie, your probably not use to going to bed this early. It's hard to make your body "Just Go To Sleep", especially if your not in your usual sleeping routine. Okay Election Judge, you have a very important job ahead of you in just a few hours. Now if you continue taking things to try and make you sleep, you will probably feel all drugged out in the morning, drowsy, and not as alert as you would like to be. If I may let me suggest this, turn off all the T.V.'s, Radio's, any source of stimulius, take a warm bath, soak, look at the ceiling, and go to the most tranquil place you can think of. After about 20 minutes, get out of tub, fix you a cup of decaffinated tea, coffee, whatever your drink of choice is, just keep it decaf., if you enjoy reading go to your bed lie down, and read. For the most part, you will probably miss some sleep, be wired up in the morning and most of day tomorrow, and rest probably want bless you until after the elections. I'm so sorry I know this doesn't help much. But I have been wired so many times, but I have never had the priveldge of being an election judge, the responsibility, must be enormous. But if unable to sleep, just lay with your eyes closed and try to rest, if sleep doesn't come. Best of Luck, Take Care, and Thank You for being an election judge.

Since it is so early your body probably doesn't wanna sleep yet. Wait until 8pm and go lay down, make sure your alarm is set. I think no matter what time you fall asleep, having to be somewhere at 5:45 am is just early and you will be sleepy, but you will make, I promise.

If you happen to exercise try that...Either runnin on the treadmill or walkin..that might help. Also try something soothing..like hot tea with honey. You might also want to try reading. Not a really good book..you get into it and not sleep..one that youve read before or just started and dont quite like. GOOD LUCK
