my period is due in 2weeks or so and wondering how long a would have 2 wait after my period?

I know your anxiety! Some test say you can test before your period but the accuracy decreases! So wait until you have missed your period then test...first morning urine although not necessary is usually best!!

Some home pregnancy tests say they can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 4 days before your missed period...but they don't tell you that for each day away from your start date the percentage of accuracy greatly drops. The best results from a home pregnancy test happen on or after the day you expect your period........before that there just may not be enough of the pregnancy hormone at that time to be detectable.....

There are many tests on shelves now that can detect preg. within days. I checked a week after and found out. Sorry , don't remember the brand though.

you have to wait two weeks for your period to come,and if you have a regular period and this time is late like two three days,you can try then.

wait til you are a few days late on your period. then you can take the test
