Can't help you there. I can suggest an excellent Peruvian restaurant here in SF., though.
I would wait till I got there. Then i could talk to the folks who probably just ate there yesterday. You know how quickly restaurants can change.
Wish i was coming with you. i love Peruvian food. Heck, I love Peru.

If you are looking for a fancy place I'd recommend you Muelle Uno, Brujas del Cachiche and La Rosa Náutica. These three are a little way too expensive though (the only timese I went thre was because I was invited).
A nice place to eat southern Peruvian food is Las Tres MarÃas in the area of Monterrico in the district of Surco. Is very good and not too expensive. If you want to try Peruvian style seafood you could to 'El Embarcadero' or to one of the restaurants located in the Av. de la Rosa y Toro in the district of San Luis or San Borja (can't remember well).
Those are good places to start, probably if you go to a nice hotel or take a tour they'll recommend you very expensive places that won't be too different from the places I told you about.
