Is it possible that a future time travel experiment gone wrong could alter our space-time continium to the point that the Earth could get trapped in a never-ending time loop?

If we were, is there any possible way that we could break it?

Could we (unknowingly) be stuck in an infinite time-loop?

Time = 1900
Loop Time>=2010
Time=Time+1
If Time = 2010
Time = 1900
End If
End Loop

If we are stuck in an infinite time loop we won't know we are since we unknowingly know that we are stuck. However if we knowingly manage to get off the loop that means we knowingly know that we are stuck which contradicts the given fact that we are unknowingly stuck in a loop. How are we going to know if we were stuck when we actually don't know in first place?

Not likely. In fact what we call "time" is NOT a natural feature of the universe. It's nothing more than a human invention to separate events.
