The best thing you can do is just ask her. Don't try and hide it, then she won't be able to trust you and will be disappointed. Tell her that you think your mature enough to start. I did this the hard way. I started shaving and my mom noticed it one day, so in front of my family she asked me if I started shaving. Sooo embarrasing (my brother tell his friends everything I do) so yeah.
Good luck!

Ok be like "Mom,can i ask you something important, in private. I think i should be able to shave because im getting older and i would at least like to try it." That's all there is to it! Good-Luck! It's off the chain and the hizzle!

Yes, you should ask her. You should just say "Can I start shaving my legs?" But don't say "All my friends are" because parents will say, "Well I'm not all your friends' parents!" Parents hate it when you say that..I've used it, and that's what they say. At least mine do :)

No, don't ask her. She's older than you; she can do what she wants, even if that involves making what you consider to be bad fashion choices. Moms are notoriously hard to change anyway :)
