My friend & I have just been to a clairvoyant evening, my friend gave her a photograph of her and her mum & stepdad. She said it was a happy photo, but there was also sadness, she said she saw a death on her mums side, this really unnerved her and is understandibly quite upset, as that side of the family is quite small. The clairvoyant said she was saying what was coming through & that it wouldnt affect her directly.
Should she have told her this?

a true clairvoyant will tell you good and bad things that they see but not in a direct manner. They won't say that they see death of a family member but they will forsee death around a certain person. This could relate to a pet/family aquaintance etc/neighbour/ distant relative and so on. The death could of also of already happened in your mums family and this is why the clairvoyant see's happiness but also sadness. There are a lot of things that could tie your friend indirectly to this reading. It's not easy to not take the clairvoyants reading to heart but you & your friend approached the clairvoyant and she only told you what she saw.

A true clairvoyant will not tell you anything that will make you change your life.

I keep saying the words True Clairvoyant. The reason for this is that there are many people out there who don't have the gift but they still advertise themselves as clairvoyants. They have worked for many years and they know how to ask leading questions that in turn gives them what they need to give a false reading. They can see from a picture the age of somebody and combined with leading questions they can make a false reading. With clairvoyance it's all about seeing what will happen and not what has happened. This makes it easy for the ungifted to say what they see as it's something that will happen in the future. Do you see what I'm trying to say? Clairvoyance is a term given to describe the act of clear sight. A clairvoyant sees pictures` in their mind and relays what they see to to other people.

Tell your friend not to worry.

Death is not necessarily a bad thing in clairvoyance. It can denote new beginnings as it does in a tarot card reading. Everything has an explanation. People who go to see a clairvoyant with rings on the wedding ring finger should expect to be told that they are married.

Should a clairvoyant tell bad things. I would suspect that if she didn't say bad things then the person would feel cheated.

I visited one years ago and everything she told me has come true. And what has happened to me in my life has been incredible and not the usual run of the mill stuff. So it makes me think that there is more to a crystal ball than meets the eye. lol

It is the Clairvoyants duty to tell you good and bad. Why would you go to one just to recieve good information that you dont need?
If the clairvoyant sees death, ask her to focus on it and and give you move information. Destiny can be changed but you need to know what it is that you must change. Is someone ill? Will it be an accident?
She will know and can give you some idea. You have to push her deeper. Never forget, you can change bad news in many cases. This is the main reason people go to them. Why not change what you can in advance?

Just make sure this is a real clairvoyant? Check her out and get references. If she is not the real thing or she is green (new to readings) she can misinform you and give you fears over nothing.

When I see Mediums and Psychics, I tell them dont hold back the bad, give it to me with the good. Knowledge is POWER.

Dear Child

As a Clairvoyant what is seen is told, if lied or hidden the vission haunts the Clairvoyant till its being told as seen.

So if its good or bad i often tell, it might hurt a persons feelings or make happy.

Only thing i can advice you is pray to God after having bath late night everyday, everything should work fine for you, even if bad things are suppose to happen it will passoff.

It depends really, I worked with a woman who went to go and see someone with a group of friends. She told each of the friends, (they went in individually) that they would lose someone they knew, until she came to the last friend. She told her that unless she moved the divorce papers she had hidden under the matress then her husband would find them, get into his car and have a fatal car crash.
They were each told not to discuss it with each other, or it could have even worse consequences.
That night the woman went home and destroyed the papers, the next evening when she came home from work, the husband had decided to have a spring clean, and incidentally would have found the papers. So unless there is a reasoning behind it like there was here, then no, I think she would have been better off not being told.

It has nothing to do with the clairvoyant...you and your friend went to her. She will say whatever she feels first. Besides if you really believe in clairvoyancy in that aspect, then you and your friend deserve a little emotional suffering for awhile. There was nothing with significance to that reading. All families experience death so eventually her reading will come true and the two of you are going to be amased...shameful really, how gullable humanity is. I hope you didn't pay this woman to predict the inevidible for you.

What were you expecting - ah, your going to meet a dark, handsome stranger and fall in love.

I'm guessing that from the picture the 'clairvoyant' has had a good guess at your friend's mum's age and thought - your mum's parents must be getting on a bit, let's predict a death.

Tell your friend not to take this clairvoyant too seriously. No one can predict the future but anyone can take a stab in the dark.

Generally they shouldn't, but many read the "Passages" book and can accurately judge what is likely to happen to people at various stages of their life from that. Certainly stark stuff like death should be avoided.
However a little dark news can make the reading seem more realistic. I have in the past alluded (accurately) to medical issues but I tend to couch it in words like "have a tendency towards" so as not to scare people. There are medical traits that you can spot in some people that stem from hormonal imbalances that make some illnesses more or less likely.
But needless to say, genuine clairvoyancy DOES NOT exist.

my Wife reads Tarot Cards, and i use geomancy and rune cards and stones.

when doing a reading for someone else we are often put in a situation of wondering what we should tell someone and what we should not tell them. my personell feelings are that we should tell them everything. Because each reading is unique and we really never know what someone is looking to learn. or what they need to know.

the gods, or the powers that be, give us some knowlege as to what may be happening to someone or their family. it is not my place to decide what they should and should not hear.

on the other hand i do hate geving people bad news.
