are they sociable? how long does it take for them to get used to someone?

They can be really social if they are treated right I use to have two of them they would get so excited when I came in the front door and start their little purrs I loved playing with them and they sat next to me like a cat or dog but they do require a little more work talk to them and handle them as much as possible with out causing them to much anxiety you'll find they can be quite entertaining, I do think having two makes for happier little guinea pigs though as long as they get along and have plenty of room!!

Yes they are I have two boy guinea pigs and they are very friendly and are like little puppys when I got them I got them from the pet shop and it took about half a day.

It depends on the pig how friendly they are. Generally it takes a while for them to trust you. It helps if you handle them gently and frequently and feed them veges while they sit with you. They will associate you with treats!! Pigs are social animals with eachother so it's usually a good idea to have a same sexed pair. I have two boys and they get along great (which isn't always the case.)

They are heard animals and they would like it if you would get another guinea pig and put it with them (2 females are best) They take a few days to get used to their owners .

I had a guinea pig that I got from my friends two guinea pigs and he was really sweet but scared of everything for about two weeks. they get used to people jst feed it and make it happy and it will get used to you faster.

I have two yes they're very sociable and it takes about maybe a week maybe not even for them to get used to you!
