Correct me if I am wrong the U.S.A is the only country in the civilised democratic western world that its citizen(s) have assassinated or attempted to assassinate its voted leaders, this democracy is being touted as the greatest democracy ever, but if it get decided by the gun is it any better than some of the countries it is trying to promote democracy to. Europe has had it past but they have all been royals not elected politicians that I am aware of.

It's an illusion, but if it makes them feel good to believe it, what harm does it do? (As long as they leave other people alone.)
The USA is the most powerful, but they have capitalism confused with democracy. They are not the same thing. You can't have democracy when only a small elite class chooses it's leaders.

Even assuming your points about voted leaders being cut down is correct and I don't think it is, I think your logic is flawed.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the assassination attempts have been done by a single person (or maybe a couple) not an uprising by the citizens. So I don't think you can compare that with a country promoting democracy (which I don't think is working).

America is said to be the greatest democracy because it has managed to make the most money with good investments in the passed, and a strong govenment means many people hate them hence the assassinations,
Americans say it is the greatest as they are patriotic but it is just a matter of opinion.

Democracy from the ancients have been governed via synthetic Gods and till Habeas Corpus, Magna Carta and the Westminster gadget of government of the year 1290 advert got here into potential all of us lived below serfdom regulations. i actually for my area desire the Australian Federal and State Constitutions based on the Westminster gadget which has by no potential failed us. I additionally like the technique of our elected Governor popular to place in and sack a incompetent government whilst double dissolution is composed of the fore. It has in basic terms ensue as quickly as and would I say long stay the Governor popular whilst Whitliam became sacked from government and Melcome Frazer became put in. which will tutor any top Minister for leaping into mattress with the Arabs.

i am afraid that in the name of "democracy" unnumerable "undemocratic" things have been going on in the us and still are going on. and i am also afraid, that democracy has become a religion some way. but in the bible democracy is not mentioned as the thing as god wants a goverment to be like. it is an invention from ancient greece. and i do not think too great about this period. sorry.

I can't understand why the UK is even considered a democracy when the upper house of its parliament is unelected and membership is guaranteed only by birthright privilege and political back slapping.

Remember, remember, the fifth of November, Gunpowder, treason and plot. Royals were not the target in that one.
England was a Republic for a short time under Cromwell. He wasn't royal either.
Now we have blair - Am I allowed to shoot him? (can anyone lend me a gun? they're banned over here)

I think you are brain washed in some of the history and need to update. It is easy and natural to think, your own country is the best in whatever it is. It is just a period of time that USA is leading. But very soon it will loose the power as it doesn't have the capacity to be the leader.
