Does anyone else agree Kelly Holmes did not deserve a DBE?

Consider the following: Matthew Pinsent and Steve Redgrave were knighted after winning gold medals at *three or four* successive Olympics; she won gold at one Olympics, a feat traditionally recognised with an MBE. Other Dames like Judi Dench and Julie Andrews were only honoured after decades of excellence in their chosen fields. Is sports so much more important than acting, writing, public service, etc. that the bar should be set lower?

Deus - Ant and Dec were already included on the UK entertainment walk of fame, along with people like Laurence Olivier and The Beatles. But it was sponsored by ITV, so what would one expect?

I agree Kelly Kelly is overrated. It gets on my nerves when she makes those sounds in the ring. Like damn if you can't take the pain then why wrestle, leave the spot to someone who can actually wrestle and can improve their skills. Everytime shes going to perform a move she looks like she is thinking should I hit them or not. When she won on her match against Beth I was like wtf! How can she beat Beth; Kelly can't even beat Maria. Everytime she stands in the corner of the ring getting ready for that stupid little move she does I can't stand it, can't she do any moves. If Kelly Kelly ever becomes Womens Champ. it is going to be a disgrace to the Championship. It will make it's prestige go all the way down. Wait no Kelly Kelly is a disgrace to the Womens Division. How can she be named the most improved diva of 2008 while she has no skills and she starts screaming and whinning when shes in a match, shes worse then how Maria use to be when she use to say 'Come On!' and other things. And the thing is most of the fans are blind they just follow her because they think shes hot like seriously can't they see she has NO SKILL. In my opinion I have never seen a WRESTLER who is so overrated and just sucks at wrestling and has no skills.

Hell no I do not agree with you. I (anyone outside the UK) do not care about the DBE but give the girl her due, do you know how hard it is to win one gold medal,let alone 2, it's harder and actually takes some effort so it's more important than acting, but I could be impartial as I was an athlete.
