when a cramp occurs, go to the middle of the belly of the muscle.
Place your fingers about 2 inches apart, in the middle of the muscle, with your fingers and hands parallel with the muscle.
Push the middle parts of the muscle towards each other, as though you were trying to shorten the muscle. Dig in a bit, be quite firm about this.
Keep it up until the pain stops. Keep repeating this on any muscle or part of the muscle that is cramping.
This can give almost immediate relief. You may be surprised at how fast this works!
If you are still unsure of what I am saying, attend a "Touch for Health" weekend seminar, where you will learn this technique. (It's called "unblocking the muscle"). See www.tfhka.org or your local health food store for details.

Cramps yuck. I have had some pretty severe cramps. They are awful. Depending on the level of pain which mine have been from manageable to dying. Start off with over the counter medicine like Advil, midol, pamprin, and Tylenol. Some things that help me are heat pads and at night maybe try ben gay on your stomach. I know that sounds funny. Believe it or not moving actually helps cramps go away, so shake or take a brief fast walk. If none of this is helping call your doctor and have him give you something stronger. I had to do this a couple of times because nothing was helping me. Good luck.

better ways to relieve menstrual cramps
1. exercise
2. take a long warm bath
3. heating pad
4. masturbate.
5. take advil
i know you don't wanna hear this but masturbating really does help and um yeah its fun. so if you're like most girls..then do it. on my first day of my period i always get bad cramps so i hurry and take a shower and masturbate and after that i'm fine for the whole week. i find that advil also works great. see what works best for you. you might need to do only one thing or maybe all.

take some midol[which is the best way to go] or tylenol, then lay on your back with a heating pad on the area producing the cramps. think of other things to distract you.

My doctor told me to get some sun. Go for a walk ect. ya know, cause when you are cramping you feel like going for a walk. I pretty much did not do this and opted for drugs instead.

I generally find that a small hot water bottle on your tummy works! Also cuddling a cushion is pretty good. If all else fails paracetamol or even Syndol (these pain killers will make you sleep though.)

heating pads
you can buy the onetime use kind they are on the femine products aisle
if u can't find those and you can't find a regular heating pad
i sometimes take a small ceramic plate like regular everyday china and heat it up for like 30 seconds or until "golden brown"( sorry baking joke) and then i use pot holders or a dish towel cuz it is usually pretty hot and i just lay it on my lower abdomin

Drink lots of water, try walking daily, and there are also heat patches for muscle relaxation that work well.
