Communism means equality among all people, yet most Communist leaders (kim jong il, fidel castro, stalin) end up being dictatorial.

Communism, capitalism, and socialism are primarily economic systems. There are a variety of political philosophies and systems that interface with any of these. Added to that is the fact that many nations have economic and political systems that blend aspects of these various systems.

Kim Jong Il might use the mantle of communism, but North Korea is far from being a communist or socialist state. Most of its population lives in poverty. Famine is a constant threat for them. There is no equal distribution of goods. Kim Jong Il is a dictator, as was Stalin. Their regimes were about centralized power and nothing about socialism or communism.

Easy, the system is a dismal failure. The only way they have kept it going was through walls and guns. There have always been two classes in commnism. The people who live at low semi-desperate state and the govt burecrates who have thebest houses, cars, money (usually in numbered accounts).. Castro is just another dictator whose been in power for 45 years. I would like to see his hidden bank accounts
