my husband is working at a burger place for extra money he gets paid weekly at 8.50 per hr and at first his checks weekly was 400. and over the past 2 months the checks is lowering and lowering today he got paid 197 and last week was 216 but hes working the same amount of hours every week. which is 45 hours. he told his manager about the problem and he refuses to fix it. i was wondering what should we do???? im so confused he work 2 jobs but i dont want this one to screw him over

his is at work i take his checks and put them in the bank and keep his check stubs. and i have his bring home of a print out of every day hours

does his paycheck show the same amount of hours each week? Are they taking out more taxes and that's why he's getting less money? if he's clocking in and out and they are not paying him all of his hours then you can report you should be able to report them to the Department of Labor or similiar agency.

That does seem strange. I would think that he should quit and find another burger place if they wont fix the problem. But becuase of the legality of the situation, I would have to believe they would fix the problem right away. Plus, it makes no sense that your husband would work the same hours for less pay. I hope this is just a misfortunate incident and not that he has not been at work during those hourse. Good luck!

That seems strange. If the hours add up and your husband is being under paid, you can take it to the manager's boss. If that doesn't work, keep going up the ladder or take it to the labor office for your county/state.

2 words.. LABOR BOARD.. it is against the law threaten to call a lawyer and if the company fires him for that man u will really have a case.. so that is what I would do! Good luck..

you sure your husband is "at" work?... might want to take a little look into that.... employers would fix it right away.
