the cow is a sacred animal to their religion. A Hindu woman would probably want to marry someone who shares her culture and religion.

No, they don't eat beef. They consider the cow to be sacred.

They don't HAVE to marry "their own kind" which is very patronising. However, there is strong cultural pressure to do so.

they do not eat beef it is against their religion how ever there marriages are prearrange at birth or shortly after by their parents.. i don't know why.. but it is and it seems to work for them fewer divorces and such ..
