Fun question, let's examine. If through no fault of their own someone loses some money and you find it, what should you do? I think that moral people would realize that they can earn their money and would make an attempt to return it. Someone who is profficient at work and enjoys being productive isn't likely to go around looking for a free lunch. They would return it. I think that's how I feel, so I would return it too, if it didn't take a great effort. Otherwise I would give it away (to a charity or something, not a random person.

It would depend. If I found $20 on the street, just laying there - yes. If I found $20,000 laying on the street, I would turn it in to the police and get a receipt. Law is that is no one claims it, it is yours. If there was an I.D. or in a Brink's bag, I would just turn it in.

no, I would try to find the rightfull owner 1st. I know would be in a hard spot if I lost money and would want it returned. Plus, karma's a b*tch.

heck, the store clerk didnt ring my laundry soap up and I told her that was only $2.99, but I made her ring it up and paid for it. I wasnt going to steal it.
