what do you think about president bush

I think he is misrepresented.
It's true that he could've done a better job with world relations, but we have a biased system of media to thank for the fact that his good accomplishments go unnoticed.
Everyone likes to thank Clinton for the great economy he left behind, but no one seems to mention that the national defecit has been reduced by HALF since G.W.Bush took office.Or that the unemployment rate has been at its lowest since the Carter adminstration.
Everyone can see on TV the bad news coming from the war in Iraq, but for some reason the good stuff gets filtered out.Good news about the HUNDREDS of new schools built for the Iraqi children...or the fact that Iraqi women now have a voice in their government.

I believe that if president bush had never become president, I would have been able to at least tolerate his presence in the same room as me. But do to his many faults while being president I just cannot respect him. Many people like to say that he is not the truly evil one in the white house, that he has been "brainwashed" by those he appointed. The fact still remains that he could have let them go and/or simply disregarded their advice if he truly believed it to be bad. This points out a fault that many presidents have suffered in the past, and those presidents have been recorded as some of the worst presidents ever, including Grant, Jackson, and Hoover. All of these men, like George bush, disregarded corruption in their administrations and would not tackle problems with an open mind. This I believe is George bush's main fault. Not to say that i do not believe that some of his policies have been bad, but a lot of troubles that this country faces on the internal and international levels shows his lack of true leadership qualities. So to answer the question, i think that George bush is very lacking in the leadership column and therefore cannot be a very good president.

I am kind of new to yahoo answers.
In my short time here, I have learned so much.
Yahoo Answers is a reminder of just how different some people are.
I love my country, I am a proud American.
I believe that as Americans, we must support our country, armed forces and leaders.
It's OK if we don't agree with everything.
But it is not OK to speak out against our leaders, military and government.
As a matter of fact, I feel that during time of war, it should be illegal to promote anti-government propaganda.
I support our President.
I think he has made some difficult decisions and sacrificed his own popularity to do the right thing.
I am proud that we have a leader that will do what he says. Now of course we can all regurgitate what the liberal criminal media trys to feed us and denounce Bush and his team, but the right thing to do as an American is to love our country and support the leaders.

I voted for Michael Badnarik. Bush was the better of the two bad choices among the frontrunners, but Badnarik was the best of the field.

I think he is a nice guy who truly cares about the American people even the ones that hate him. He sticks with what he believes is right not what is popular. I am proud to call him my President.

He was a President. Served two terms... Took some flack, gave a little reason for getting it... He was okay, I guess.

Bush is blinded by his personal biases, and like ALL politicians, lies to get his way. I think Bush, like all politicians, should be taken to an island and left there to starve to death, because they would never be able to agree on dinnertime.

I think he is as much a victim as the American Public.

He has been brainwashed by his meatpuppet masters into believing that he is the "decider."

Some days I feel sorry for him. Other days I can't stand to look at him.
