I work at a Movie Theatre, and my co-workers are mainly male. Well, being teenage boys and all, they tend to be a bit immature, which is understandable. They are constantly giving me a hard time though, teasing me, poking my sides, grabbing me and scaring me, sexual inuendos, etc. My guy friend that works there said several "like" me and told him I was "beautiful" and "hot" which of course I don't believe. I just don't understand why they are constantly giving me a hard time, I just laugh it off with a smile knowing they are just having a good time, but why do they act this way with me? I'm always smiling and laughing so I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it makes me wonder if they even like me if they are constantly teasing me, I always thought if a guy liked a girl he'd try to be as sweet as possible.

Guys-if you do this why? Guys, if you do tease girls, do you tease all the girls you know, or just a specifc few?

This is sexual harrassment in the workplace. Speak to your manager as soon as possible and demand that this behavior be stopped immediately. It's exactly the same as if you were a 24-year old secretary at a big company and the boss was grabbing your butt or making snide comments.
If you get no response from the manager, contact your local Equal Opportunity Employment Comission office.

They keep doing it because of your positive reaction, they think you like it. Just like a little kid, when they do something funny and everybody laughs, they keep on doing it over and over even after it gets old and irritating. They probably think you are attractive also. If you stop giving a positive reaction I will bet the "teasing" will slow down and finally stop once these boys get the hint. But do not be mean cause then they will think you are a jerk.

Guys have fun in different ways then girls and often don't realize that what they are doing bothers the "victim". If you don't like it don't smile and laugh. Tell them you don't like it and if they really like you they will stop.
All guys tease girls but only ones that they feel really comfortable around. We like to tease and fool around with good friends. And yes if there is a girl that a guy really likes and loves then a real gentleman is as sweet as possible to her.
Just telling you these guys are just your friends having fun and if you don't like what there doing just tell them and don't act like what their doing is funny.

I remember when I was in those years... When boys tease you, it's b/c they like you. They don't know how to give them attention so they tease them. This is normal, just don't let it get out of control. If there is something they say that makes you uncomfortable, let them know. If they don't change, tell your boss.

Ignore them decide what you want to do in life and do it. Figure out what makes you mad and set out to change it.
