Ever since seeing the film Dueling Banjo's I am obsessed with wanting to own and play the banjo. I do not own one as yet, so any guidance about buying one would be appreciated, also where or how could I learn to play. I have never had the time or money to try before. p.s. I am sadly not very musicaly gifted.

Playing music is awsome and fun. YOu can go down to a music store that sells insturments, and usually they will let you play the instruments to get a feel for them. So that way you can find something you like. They might even help with setting you up with lessons. I play guitar and i think the banjo is alot harder, but depends on the person. If your looking for something cheap, walmart sells cheap banjos, maybe not the greatest thing, but it's a start. Have fun.

Its not too different from the guitar,just take guitar lessons.
