I know I'm too Old for This! I'm Addicted to Laguna Beach!?

Im way too old to be so into MTV's Laguna Beach but I watch it, and all the repeats. I never watch any soap operas so it's weird that I'm so into this. I first though Rocky was cool, but now I think she's nutty. Kydra and Cami are sooo insecure (have you noticed how they always stroke their hair?) and I don't see why everyone is after Cameron when Chase is so sweet. And have you noticed that whenever Tyler speaks, he mentions his parents money?
I'm too old do care, but I DO. What's my question? I guess- is this weird?

I'm 39 and I grew up in Orange County- I did go to school in Laguna for a short time. I was never preppy or rich, so I'm usually appalled at the way these kids behave! Did you see when Cami spent $4K on clothes? (And what's with the giant black sunglasses??) God, I love to hate that show! But I'm old enough to be their mom.

No way! You are totally normal, because I know exactly how you feel. I am just like you! I graduated from high school 8 years ago and I totally feel like I am way too old to be into "Laguna Beach", but I can't help it! I just enjoy watching those spoiled, carefree teenagers run around town like nothing is more important than all of the drama that they create themselves. I guess in way, we probably envie the people on Laguna. I know I do and at the same time, cannot believe that it could be their reality. Like you, I would love to hate this show too. :-)

You know, I think Kyndra is going to be the next Kristin Cavarelli. They are both blonde and beautiful w/a celebrity zest. I am not sure how MTV casted Tessa as the narrator of the show and have everything sorta centered around her, because she's not even that popular or pretty. She looks slightly Asian though. She is pretty down-to-earth and is always there to support her best friend, Rocky. Rocky is cool with her oh-so-cute new boyfriend, Alex. I also don't understand how Cami became "popular"; she's so ugly and fat and all she does is talk trash, even about her own best friend! Yeah, I don't know why the girls are all over Cameron either; he's not even good looking at all. Maybe MTV needed a guy that was willing to play the "pimp" and thought that Cameron would pull it off best (remember Stephen from the previous seasons)?? Anyway, yeah, I like Chase too; he's cute and is so sweet towards Tessa. I want them together! Tyler doesn't always talk about his parents' money, but I do remember one incident when he did while he was talking to Nikki, his sister. When he fights w/Kyndra, he's not talking about money. What is up with Breanna? She is hardly on the show, but her older sister, LC was the narrator the first season and who also has her own series, The Hills. I guess I know, Breanna's weird looks didn't make the cut (you have to agree w/me that LC is pretty, but not sure what happened when it came to Breanna?!). Oh, and those giant, black sunglasses (on both the girls and boys) are so that they are known/stand out as the "celebrities" of Laguna Beach, if you know what I mean. Ugh...how we love to hate them!

I'm 27 and I love Laguna Beach.Rocky to me seems like the most down to earth character.Cami and Kyndra are insecure attention seekers.Jessica is an insecure girl who attracts dirtbags.Cameron is a jerk who thinks hes all that,and his best friend Nick W gives the worse advice,maybe he is jealous of Cameron.Tyler creeps me out,he should date someone closer to his own age.And Breanna is immature and constantly makes a scene wherever she goes,this explains why she gets so little air time.These kids really crack me up.So do the kids on The Hills.

Season 3 replaced into horrific. not one of the ladies have been warm. all of them have been entire sluts. you're good, those ladies made Kristen regarded like a saint. i'm hoping they dont carry back season 4, or have all new human beings. The Hills is a greater physically powerful teach with LC's lovable smile.

Your question is whether or not it's wrong for you to be obsessed with this show and my answer is who cares? You didn't even state your age! :)...besides, I too am too old AND obsessed. I have not noticed Tyler mentions his parents' money because I refuse to acknowledge what comes out of that idiot's mouth. Cameron is gross, Chase is cute to older women, not highschoolers, Kyndra AND Cami are way to ugly to act as mean as they are, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that wants to see Breanne (Breanna???) somewhere in public and kick her 2-faced, fame-grabbing butt!!!!! Me too! i think I like it cause I can't believe the teenagers of today act like that. I think Rocky is cool but miss understood. I think Cami needs to get a life and fire her hairdresser cause her weave is insane.

first of all, nowhere in your question did you say how old you are. and second, no its not weird, no matter how old you are. because in my opinion the show laguna beach is a pile of crap. i lived right down the street from there and i love the city, but i almost gagged when i heard they were making a reality show about preppy b*tches and their drama who live in laguna beach. those people make me sick. go ahead, watch it, you're not wierd for watching it. you're probly just a dumb preppy b*tch like the rest of em...

I'm almost 30 and am addicted myself! I like rocky and tessa at first but then I thought rocky was a biotch for being mean to LC's sister and making her cry. I really like Kyndra, but I can't believe she puts up with Tyler's ****...he is a freakin loser!!!

No, feel free to watch whatever you want to watch! Secret: Im not that young and i watch it all the time too! I have the first two seasons on my ipod and watch them all the time!
