No one is lesser or more than the other. Whether we are talking about men and women or different races. Some people were brought up differently than you and me. Some people believe men are stronger and worth more because that's how they were raised, that's how they saw other people growing up, and it can be a behavior they just picked up. I believe everyone is equal. You can choose whether or not you treat people as equals, just remember that what you do is seen by others. Others can learn and grow from what they see with you or the could go the over way.

Because we are nurtures and not providers. Nurturing is considered a weakness. Lets fact it. Women were created to bear children and be nurtures. It is or misshapen society that sees this as a weakness and not as an integral part of all societies. Look at the serous social issues we have now because there is not a parent in the home full time. Mom SHOULD be in the home full time. Children need 24hour guidance and supervision and love. Only a mother can give that. But because most advanced societies fail to see this as ESSENTIAL to the survival of a successful, productive and, advanced society, women pursue careers to prove that they are equal to men so that they won't be treated as inferior. Keep in mind that I am an architect by profession. I am also a carpenter and I have chosen to not have children so that I can pursue my dreams. If I had children I would do what I had to in order to stay with my kids as often as possible.

I prefer to take a more traditional role, I make my honey coffee and breakfast in bed in the morning, I iron his clothes, cook his dinner, greet him at night with a cocktail or beer in hand for him. In return I get treated like a Princess, feet rubs, sweet surprises etc. So while some may think I am treated as being on a lower level for "serving" his needs, we truly have a give and take realtionship where we trust, respect and honor each other as equals overall.

You're right, but that's just the mentality of some men. They like feeling superior. Not all of them, but most of them. It's a mentality that has been going on and developing for a long time now, it's nothing new.

You're right, but it's a matter of choice. Do you only look at the guys who are 'hunks' or 'hot'? Try looking at a few that are just average or so. Those are the guys who will treat you like a queen! My guy is 3 inches shorter than I am...but he's cute, and he's sweet, and he waits on me like I was a princess!

because women let men treat them that way. and i have also seen the opposite. if a person allows someone to treat them poorly then they will continue doing it knowing that they can get away with it. my advice would be to develop a backbone and stand up to them or get away from them.

Not all of us. I consider women just as equal. No one human is greater than the other. No matter how rich, how poor, or what race. That's where I stand. :)
