This behavior is evenly divided by both parties and all professions. To me the bigger problem is the hypocrisy and telling others how to live their lives while they are living a lie daily, hourly, deceiving those who trust them, their families, anyone who cares about them.

I respect people who live honest lives and refrain from deceiving or judging others.

Again, the hypocrisy is reprehensible! The audacity to think you are better than another, know more than another and judge another is beyond any other behavior I can imagine.

I don't think it is common. I do think there is a segment of religious leaders that frequently are found to be guilty of the very things they preach against. I think this is over compensation for the guilt they feel, and it ends up making them hypocrites. I hope this shows a lesson to people to put faith is in themselves. If the pastor or preacher is your shepard than you are a sheep. Follow what you believe not a person who can be as flawed as or great as you yourself can be.

i think any religion that condemns certain groups of people is a bad religion. The point of having a religion in the first place is to give deeper insight into our lives by showing us love and compassion, so why the hell are people preaching about hate?
