Since I been on this site I notice a certain amount of people like to sugar coat the truth. Is like they are hinding something or not true to themselves. Also it can be anything like politics, racism, social issues, the work word etc. So why do certain people just don't like the truth!

The truth is not often favoured. People like to be accepted and feel a certain level of fear about statements opinions and ideas as they are deeper levels of communication than one would usually enter with complete strangers.
Some people truly are born diplomats.
I know some people who can't remember the truth because so many likes have been told.

I think most people like the truth, but Yahoo!Answers is just a place for them to explore ideas and situations they have never experienced before and to act out in a way they typically would not behave.

People want to be told what they want to hear. Have you not been told how to make a woman happy? If you are going to tell someone somthing that they do not want to hear then at least say it in a nice way. The truth does hurt sometimes.

i know. but alot of people, based on their own viewpoints, have different views of the truth. you can say anything is truth and then say other people are deluding themselves by not listening. its what the government does all the time. and statistics don't mean anything. it just shows whats popular, therefore what sucks.
