I'n not getting a Playstation3 until it's widely available, BUT, i'm investing in a 1080p HDTV. (top of the line) I do own a PS2, and i'm wondering if you hook it up with a certain cable, will the graphics look better than on a regular TV? Is it significant?

Actually it will be worse. Now that you have the "top of the line" large screen TV, you will see all the inperfection and bad pixels in the game.

alter the video settings on the PS2. in case you have the severe-def 5 twine cable use ingenious test video, while you're nevertheless making use of the three twine RCA cable (purple, white, yellow) use interlaced video.
