Yes l believe they can. I found out my husband had been cheating on me after many years of marriage. We were very young when we married and l guess we just got used to each other and never really tried to keep things spiced up. I believe everyone deserves a second chance and boy it was the best decision l ever made.We are happier than we have ever been, so perhaps it was a good wake-up call for both of us.All you need is a lot of love and anything is possible. Oh and trust ofcourse. Once you get that all sorted out the rest is heavenly. Believe me l know first hand.

I believe that people could change if they really want to. People cheat for many different reasons. You have to really take a good look at the relationship and see were the problems lie. If the person is really sorry and I mean really sorry then I feel a relationship is worth fixing. They have alot of counseling centers and support groups on this issue. Getting back to the question can a cheating husband ever be faithful. The person that cheats needs to know with in himself why indeed he cheated. He could have commitment issues, he could have been cheated on, he could of seen his father as a kid cheat on his mother, he may have sex issues that were never dealt with, he may simply have an addiction to sex. Until a person can do a moral inventory of himself and know why he cheated that's when I feel he can become faithful to himself and his spouse. I dont like the expression once a cheat always. Depending on the person and how much he is willing to do for someone he loves, yes I feel the relationship can then be monogamous.

Heidi You caught him out once, do you think he learned his lesson or do you think he learned how not to get caught next time? It all comes down to the guy you are married to is he likely to change ?....Id say probably not.
will he cheat? that depends on his circumstances and opportunities.
was he looking for sex
a companion other than you
or is he just immature and cant see that he has an obligation to look after and love only you.
He may have seen the bright lights and changed his ways
I hope he can see that you have given him a very rare and treasured second chance and that most women would have thrown their guy out in the street.

Since he was never faithful to begin with.

I would say no.

He will just be a husband who has cheated on you.

yes. it will take time, love, trust, work, a lot of honesty, hard questions, faith, love, and willingness (all of the above go for both people). It's important to get to the bottom of the situation/problem and work together, as a team, to heal the wounds.

if they truly want to, and are remorseful, but u will always remember it, and everytime there is a disagreement or he comes in late, in the back of the mind, there it will be. personally getting hurt once is enough, and even thinking that it could ever happen again is often more than a person wants to risk.

That depends on why he was cheating in the first place. Most guys that cheat I'lll bet 95% cheat because their sex life a little to none. If that was his reason then it will be up to you to change. If you don't he won't quit You can bet the farm on that

From my experience with family member, the answer is NO. The first time they are found out they will beg for forgiveness, the subsequent times, they just keep quiet and continue to do it.

How would you ever know? (Unless he agreed to have Lojack up his *ss, video cameras in his car, a wire tap on his phone, and submitted to a polygraph every 6 seconds!)
Sorry to tell you this but liars are good at what they do.
I had to learn the hard way.
