Even after they know that their ex has moved on with their life and don't want anything to do with them...why do they just keep calling and get to the point of desperation that they call family members just to see how they are doing?

It's actually my husbands ex that keeps trying to see how he's doing and calls his familys house to see if he's ever there...she knows he's married and has kids but she still calls on holidays trying to talk to him. It bothers me so much and I take it out on my poor husband but, there really isn't anything more that he can do he made it obvious that he wants nothing to do with her... yet she still continues on!

If an ex has moved on its because she sees him as happy and is mad that he isnt happy with her. If she sees he has moved on its because she cant have him anymore. If she sees that he has moved on its because she is insecure because she thinks she cant get anybody else. An ex is just that an ex and she should think and understand how would she like it if she found someone she really loved and his ex did the same thing she is doing to the current wife, girlfriend she wouldnt like it so why do it to someone else. Whatever you do usually comes back on you.

In some cases, the ex's calling is in response to ongoing contact from the guy. But, in the majority of cases, the ex is just jealous that the other person has moved on. They desperately try to cause problems in the hopes that it will lead to a breakup, which in turn will lead to their reuniting. Their excessive calling will surely end if she was not patronized by family members talking to her. Someone should tell her to get a life!

Who does that?
Are they drunk at the time? LOL
Are you meaning you..?

Well I would say it looks like they don't believe them or they still think there is a chance for them to get back together.
..and if they just want to know how they are..well..that's natural since they were so involved.
Maybe the guy just cruely cut them out of their life and abrupt ends to relationships are hard. They still have feelings for the guy and just want to know how they are.
It is easy however if one of the people has anger or resentment towards the other, i'm guessing the one who ended the relationship is angry since you said "doesn't want anything to do with them"

One person can deal with the end of the relationship because they were in charge and they don't have loving feelings anymore or they are hidden by angry ones.

Not much to it apart from the obvious

Because they are obviously & apparently not over it. Sometimes it takes time for a broken heart heal. Scratch that, all the time it takes time for a broken heart to heal. Some people, not just girls, guys as well, can't seem to get over the fact that the passion and love they once shared is gone... so they do things out of desperation.
Love drives people to do crazy things.

Sometimes you just can't completely let go of someone you loved. It takes time.

I do that 2!!!!!!!!
I think it's because u get mad at them or something like my case he had nasty jokes, but that's besides the point, i think you brake up with them and don't relize how bad you miss until you can't have them back. If you want more..................................forcesoccer1340@yahoo.com
