I recommend doing Kegel's exercises to strengthen up your pelvic floor muscles...this is common during pregnancies especially if it is your first:

Hopefully, your pain diminishes..You may want to also wear a maternity SI belt (dont worry its cosmetic...no one will know what you have on under your clothes)..this can help alleviate the pressure from the pelvic floor muscles: http://www.thesaundersgroup.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=221

It can be normal to have some kind of "muscle thing" go on if you do something like sneeze. There can be any number of little things that go on once the pregnancy is far enough along to mean your muscles, ligaments, etc. are being affected.
It is very common to lose weight in early pregnancy. The real weight gain doesn't start happening until into the second trimester. That's when there should be the most dramatic increases in weight from doctor's visit to doctor's visit.
If you heard the heartbeat just last week (week 13) and are still just 14 weeks along, things are probably ok. You should, though, see a weight gain between now and the next four weeks. Bear in mind, though, that there are times when a woman loses weight from her own body while the baby main actually get bigger and gain weight. The weight gain of the mother is not always a measure of the baby's development.

I experienced the same thing as you did. During my first trimester, I had no appetite that I lost a few pounds. I was a little concerned, but everyone assured me that it was nothing to be concerned about as long as my baby was getting some kind of nourishment, which he was. My morning sickness didn't go away until my 18th week and I only gained 1 pound, if that. Everyone told me that I'd make up for it during my 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Sure enough, I'm almost at my 3rd trimester and I've gained quite a bit. I wouldn't say I've gained a whole lot (in comparison to other people I know), but I still have 3 more months to go.
Good luck and congratulations!!!

It is normal to have pain when you sneeze. You are in the early stages for gaining weight. It depends on your weight before you got pregnant. If you are a little overweight it is normal to not gain and even lose especially if you have been feeling sick to your stomach and fatigued. You are past 12 weeks so that is great, you are over that hump when most miscarriages happen. As long as you don't have any bleeding and you are eating healthy and some exercise you'll be fine. Good luck with your new Doctor and your pregnancy.. congrats =)

Pain is normal when sneezing or coughing-it's your muscles stretching and ligaments moving...advice is to hang on to your belly before and while you cough and sneeze. Losing weight in the first trimester is isn't uncommon, but you should be up a few pounds by now...as long as you're taking a prenatal, even one you can get at the walgreens, and as long as you gain a few pound sin the next couple weeks, I wouldn't worry too much. Don't be irresponsible and wait for your insurance to change, that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard-go to planned parenthood and have things looked at! Get a vitamin! you should have had a 12 week ultrasound by now to check your baby and you haven't-there is no excuse for any of that)

Yes Im about 14 weeks too (5th pregnancy) and when I sneeze it does hurt too. The normal weigh gain in the first trimester is 3-5 lbs however all women are different. As long as you are eating and nurishing the baby Im sure you are fine. Make sure you get what you need. Protein, iron, calcium, verggies and fruits, also make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamin everyday.
Good luck and God Bless.

Yes I had this too its just round ligament pain. Its normal. I lost 10 lbs the first trimester because i was having horrible morning sickness. Dont worry, just eat what you can when you can and make sure to take your prenatal vitamins, take them at night so they dont upset your stomach. I had the round ligament pain all the time on both sides everytime I sneezed and sometimes it stabbed so hard that I would scream. Its because your ligaments are stretching as your uterus is growing! :) congrats on your baby.
