i believe that that decision, is just another window for passing the buck and leaving the decision to his country which will keep it in a vicious circle. killing is not ok, i agree God makes this decision, but this sentence will never happen and i believe that is why they came to this, for theres to much prejudice for this country to make the final blow

Saddam was a horrible human being. What would you want
done with him if he cut off your childrens arms and legs and
made you watch? Then while alive, he gassed or threw them
in huge deep pits and covered them up with dirt (that is the
truth as I saw them uncover hundreds of women and children
from these pits on tv). Would you want him to be fed 3 meals
a day in a cell with tv privaleges and exercise/game times each
day while you or someone else pays the bill for the food and
free health care? God killed people for less (Annaias and
Safarai, Sodom & Gamorrah, eg). Yes, this world will all be
better off without him gracing the planet, the prisons, or your
neighborhood.

I am shocked really. I know he did a lot of evil stuff. But when you think about it, he was being tried for killing people and yet the courts respond by saying killing is wrong so we're going to hang you!!?? Where is the sense in that???

I think he should spend a lifetime locked away and not be spoken about again by the media so everyone can forget him.

Hanging is barbaric.

I DO understand that for the families of those he had murdered they may want to see him killed (as I would if it were one of mine....I'd probably feel like doing it myself), but I would not be in a rational state of mind, the rage would take over.

I think we need a rational system to make these decisions but not death....am against death penalty. WHO are we to decide??

First off the decision was made by the Iraqis in accordance with their own law. We don't have the right to change his sentence.

Having said that, I wish we could because killing him will make him a martyr. Keeping him alive in prison for life would deny him martyrdom and give fewer people a reason to rally around the cause.

Killing another human being isn't to be taken lightly but as he's killed tens of thousands, I don't think too many people will miss him, do you?

The only mistake we made was not dropping a grenade into the hole we found him hiding in, then we could have avoided all the bull****.

Given the present months activities and the "inner" Iraqi suggestions-set/conflict among they selves, I say; that before you placed any execution date; Saddam would desire to be enable "unfastened" upon those cowards whom are killing each and each others females, the previous, the harmless, and their toddlers. human beings like those basically comprehend one factor; and that's Saddam. All this romanticism approximately given them their "freedom" on the value of the lives of our young women and men interior the provider and ; !!!which "freedom" they have used to "kill and ambush" US and coalition forces ought to be completed away with. Edit: I edited the 0.33 line from the backside, so each and all of the bleeding hearts right here can supply me some extra, or ; each and all of the "thumbs down" they might like. certainty all hurts ; does not it?
