I would type charge this service. A really rich kid, at least 15-20, some regular dude, maybe like 10 per paper. Depends on your typing speed though, and how long the work takes you. I would test it out to see how much is the most you can get away with.

I say $10 for a typical high school assignment. If it's college, then for sure you can charge more, I'd say charge $25.

Don't charge by the hour, people will think you are taking advantage of them or lying if you say it took 2 or 3 hours. And why bother with the inconvenience of a per word fee? High school kids will want a flat rate! Remember if you're running a business you want to keep your customers happy, word-of-mouth is what will make you or break you.

I don't know if going by the hour is right or not because some people can type really fast but get a lot done. I think I would definitely suggest charging by the page..maybe $5-$7 a page.

First of all you should charge by the hour. The wage is completely up to you, but you need to decide what your time and effort is worth to you first. Depending on the difficulty you should have a flat rate of at least 10.00 then add on the hourly rate. LOL. I have lots of experience with this.. Alicia

Are you actually writing the paper or just typing it?
How long is the paper?

If you're just typing it i'd say $5.00 to $10.00 per page is reasonable.
