Go to this website: http://news.yahoo.com/fc/US/Midterm_Elections_2006
and click on your state.

Sociologists says that this election is more important than any election in the last 15 years. Basically, you have the choice of taking away Republican rule of the house, or keeping the status quo. There are probably a lot of local and state amendments that you will be reading. I suggest you get on the bucket, pal, because it is probably a small book size.

Suggestion. If you really don't know the reason you are going to go vote tomorrow, I would suggest you refrain. It's the people who don't know what they are voting for that tend to mess up what should be really done in this country. Spend sometime online tonight, and if you are still baffled tomorrow, stay at home.

Oh, honey, have you not watched the news? This vote is pivotal to see whether we will have a Republican or Democrat controlled Congress. In case you don't know, which you probably don't we currently have a Republican Congress and a Republican President. And, btw, saying it's your American duty is a good answer!! Without Americans voting to uphold democracy, it would all fall apart.

Tomorrows vote is not a Presidential Election, so at least you know that much. You will be voting for new state representatives. This is CRITICAL to our government as a part of the checks and balances. Basically every decision that the President makes HAS to go through Congress, so it is important to have people who support your values there so they can either agree or disagree accordingly. They are also the ones that approve Supreme Court judges, so it is again important to have people you support in office. You will also be voting in local and state officials in your area. My absentee ballot had people running for sheriff, local judges, school board, etc.

I'm only 24, but it makes me sick that young persons such as yourself would rather watch TV then get out and vote. It only takes a little of your time, and can implicate this nation for a lifetime. If you don't vote, don't you DARE ever complain about your taxes, our laws, our nation's domestic or foreign policy, or what politicians do or do not do.

Polls open early in the morning, so if you can drag yourself out of bed, you should be able to make it before House comes on. If you work, most employers will allow you time to go to the polls.

Go vote. It's the smart thing to do.

Go ahead and watch House, dearie. The rest of us will make your decisions for you.

Actually, it's best to be informed for at least a year prior to an election, about the candidates, and legislation being voted upon. If you really don't know by this point, the responsible thing to do is not vote.

Well if you are happy with the representation you have now then you should vote to keep them and if you have problems with the way congress is running our country then you should vote against.
The best reason to vote is bitching rights. If you haven't done anything to help what right do you have to complain. Bitching is very important to me so I always vote. Even if you vote and are later disappointed in your choice you can still *****. You know, "If I'd have known I wouldn't have voted for that ole thing." That was a quote from my Grandma. She always referred to people she was mad at as That ole thing.

If you haven't bothered to get informed before now, then I'd say PLEASE don't vote. There are enough ill-informed idiots voting tomorrow as it is.

If you want to learn to vote, start taking an interest in your local area politics and national issues. Study the politicians that represent you; understand the system; give them feedback on how they are doing.

If you prefer to remain an uneducated doormat, go back to watching TV - but that level of ignorance and disinterest is un-American.

You must vote to help take the country back from the idiots who have been raping the it for the last few years. We must take the Congress back so that Bush cannot waste any more lives in his illegal, immoral war in Iraq.

You either vote for change by electing new people, or you vote to stay the course by voting for incumbents.

1st of all. I love House.

Anyway, Don't vote if you don't think that your ready to. You are voting for who you believe is the best candidate for the job in question. You vote in order to voice your opinion and show your support for a candidate.

Good Luck

i've got heard that pharmacists can refuse delivery administration to ladies who've a prescription according to own religious/ethical ideals. it relatively is unusual that something like delivery administration they could decide for to no longer take, or an abortion they could decide for to no longer have, and yet they nevertheless experience susceptible to take alternatives far flung from others. If Christians particularly have faith that God is the single and basically genuine choose of mankind, i think of they should quit passing judgment on others and do what they experience is sturdy for themselves. i'm no longer scuffling with them from working in the direction of their ideals of their own families with my vote. to boot the certainty we've a great surge in inhabitants improve and this planet can somewhat sustain the quantity of persons on it now. we are understanding of organic supplies and what we've is lots of infants.
