It's not just hot and nice guys who turn out to be gay. I know some gay nerds, gay geeks, gay ugly guys, etc. The ones who are hot are the ones that take care of themselves and take care to dress nice. They would do the same if they were straight. Don't worry, there are hot guys who are straight. Men say the same things about lesbians, btw. They think that only the good looking ones become lesbians, but we know that's not true either.

Scenario:
A little girl is trying to catch the attention of a "hot" guy. The guy isn't moved. Trust me, from "hot", the guy will become "super hot". I don't just say it: I've seen this happen many times to many little women. Right now there's a similar case in one of my kids' schools.
I think also that a gay guy is more nice than a normal because... because...simply because he is gay. Women are more nice than men, and gay guys are sometimes feminine.
Listen little girl: gay guys aren't always nice and hot. Many of them are as, or more, rude and ugly as the other men. And don't start suspecting every handsome fellow is gay: you'd be wrong!

Most gay guys (note that I'm saying most, not all, so this is far from being a generalization) are more feminine than straight guys. They have certain personality traits that some women unconsciously identify and consequently become attracted to them.
However, it all depends on what your perception of hot is. If you're referring to physical appearance, then that has nothing to do with being gay. Members of all sexual orientations can have certain physical traits. But sexual orientation does influence (in some cases) the way you take care of your physical appearance and the way you 'convert' it in order to obtain the image you wish. So in that case, appearance can be affected by sexual preferences.
As far as personality is concerned... it just depends. Some gay men act perfectly straight, some of them adopt what is called these days a 'stereotypically gay' behaviour. But I've also met straight men who act stereotypically gay.
The whole thing about this 'all good guys turn out to be gay' theory is that, like I said before, a considerable amount of homosexuals are more feminine, they have certain personality traits that are appreciated by women, therefore women unconsciously feel attatched to them. But that just depends on the situation.

It's the same with the girls I would meet at Karaoke. The best
looking, great singers always seemed to be gay. I'm not gay
but I'm not Hot anymore, either. When I was younger (in high
school) a lot of people thought I was gay just because of the
way I dressed. I had like 30 pairs of pants (no jeans) and about
70 shirts with matching shoes and belts. I always had stuff in
Layaway at Sears and I wore a lot of plaid pants or even Pink
pants with white shoes.

I'm not gay or anything but I think from a strait mans point of view you just want what you can't have. There are alot of strait guys that are also hot and take care of themselves and there are also alot of not so attractive gay guys. Same thing goes for lesbians and any other type of guy/girl.

The same reason rich girls look better than poor girls. Gay guys put time effort and money into looking their best. Us straight guys tend to be slobs. Also when talking gay guys relate to women more on the feminine level, straight guys communicate differently or not at all. Also younger women like the type of guy who just might be gay because they are less threatening.

at first your pal is principally incorrect. Secondly, the bisexual youngster calling you gay shouldn't probably be a great number of an argument in case you're gay. Thirdly, you will properly be attracted to all and sundry, gay/at the instant/bisexual/transgendered and so on. and a great style of the time allure is all the way down to decision in terms of character/seems yet some human beings won't be attracted to others consistent with their sexuality, that's no longer uncommon for lesbian women persons to be attracted to at the instant women persons, neither is it uncommon for gay men to no longer be attracted to bisexual men as an occasion. So in certainty, that's all the way down to the guy yet no longer ALL gay men in basic terms choose for gay men.

Because most gay guys are like girls - they have good taste and know how to fix themselves up. My brother's gay and he is more high maintenance than me, sometimes he even does my hair. It sucks how the hot guys only like other guys huh? :)

Gay men are generally more concerned about their looks and appearance, therefore, they will attract both sexes without meaning, too. Though, I know whatcha mean, I have met some really good looking gay men that went off my gaydar!
