It means nothing really. Nothing will change on the ground in Iraq. if anything it will give some people another reason to take up arms

He does deserve death, but this trial was a kangaroo court. The Kurdish genocide is the trial that should have been the first trial, and it should have been held in an independent location like at the Hague. Holding it in Iraq, run by Iraqi leaders that have been set up by Americans stinks of bias and only leaves that open. At least if it had been held in a neutral area the same verdict would have been reached without the bias issue.

No, but he committed genocide on thousands of his own people. that's pretty permanent too. Also, what about all the women he and his henchmen raped and all the children he made orphans
