The best way for you to make friends is to let yourself go. What I mean by that is, you should be social. Dont be afraid to be yourself. 99.5% of the people like others for who they really are. And you may be surprised by how much you may have in common.

ummm i have that same problem . i know you can go into chat rooms but i dont think that is very safe. i guess you just have to ask your friends for screen names of friends of theres that you dont know. i think that would have to be the safest way.
but yeah i read your profile and it seems like we have a lot in common. im also 13 and an A student. i love music and writing.

well the internet..not a good place...be spontaneous..go to a young teen hang out spot or some casual area other than school where people your age can have fun freely without penalty

omg! you can catch aids on online friendships.. well, there really isnt an danger in having an online friendship.. as long as you dont give away personal details, such as town which you live in, address.. or what not.. and just get friends by whatever messenger service you use, and find people on there.

get girls life magazine and they have this pen pal thing in there where u send in like ur intrests and they mach you up with people its pretty cool and safe!
