to be 16 and be preg. and engaged? :S...its not for me its for someone i no..?..

Well, if she's already pregnant there's not much she can do about it and if she'd like to try to make a marriage work and truly feels it could, and if she's mature enough to handle it then it's certainly worth trying. Maturity would be the operative word here though. It no longer matters if she's wrong or right, only her future choices matter now.

I got engaged at 16. Pregnant wiTh the same guys baby at 17 and married him. We have been happily married for 8 1/2 years. Yes, there have been rough times. But they just make us stronger. We now have 3 beautiful children and we are awaiting our 4th in June. We don't live off the government and we both have finished high school. Diplomas for us both. My hubby has also been through college and got a degree. I intend to go to college after the baby is born. My husband has also had the same job for 9 years. It can work if you work at it. Nobody can judge if it will work or not. It depends on the people.

I really dont think thats such a great idea to be 16 and pregnet and engaged!! She would be 16 years older than her own child! Its not really okay to get married at age 16! I say wait for the marrage but the pregnancy we cant do anything about.

Who is judging who here? Atleast the guy wants to be with her. I got pregnant when I was 15. My son saved my life. God is the only who is truly to say what is right and wrong. Watch what you say -you might be next. I'm serious. Don't judge people. Who cares if it is right or wrong. If she's your friend, be there for her no matter what, if she's not, you should still be there for her. She's about to lose a bunch of friends because of what motherhood brings. Don't be a jerk and talk crap about her. Then you would be no better than your worst enemy.

A sixteen-year-old is not capable of being a parent. Is she done with school? Have a full-time job? Able to support herself and her baby financially? Health insurance? Probably none of the above. She should stop being selfish and think about how her unstable life is going to affect her baby.
As far as being engaged as a teenager, statistically it mostly likely won't work out. High school romances don't last too long.

Well, she's pregnant now, and that's that. And hopefully she's engaged for the right reasons, not just because she got pregnant, because all she'll end up doing is getting a divorce later on and that would be hard on the kid.

i got engaged when i was 16. i'm not (nor have ever been) pregnant. however, if the girl you know is happy, than maybe it's what's good for her. of course if her fiance is over 18 than that is statutory rape, and he could get sent to jail for it. if not, than life will be extrememly hard for the three of them, but if they are happy, and violence is not a part of their relationship, then no one but them can say if it's right for them or not. some things aren't right for some people, but are for others. it all depends on the people.

It happens. If this is a friend I would be supportive. I would also hope that she put off marriage until she is done with highschool. That way she is sure they are marrying for the right reason and not just because she is pregnant. She does not need people's judgement just support.

What do you mean is it wrong? is it wrong for her to be pregnant and be engaged? well lots of people get pregnant before they get married so no its not a big deal. cause shes 16 and pregnant..not really that big of a deal either...i dont think any of its wrong..
