I think he's really considered a shooting guard, despite his impressive assists totals. Kevin Ollie plays the point for the Sixers, which I think is better for Iverson.

He is given the title as a point guard during games but in my opinion he plays like a shooting guard. He averages 22.3 shots a game. The next highest average is just above 12 shots. The teams averages around 73 shots a game. The PG is suppose to run the plays and set up other players. He shoots way to much to be truely considered a PG.

trrruuee...in fact he avg'd a pretty good amount of assists per game last year too...the dude is a freak talent who just doesnt get enough credit ever... i mean they even cut him from the olympic/national team DESPITE him being the only player on the 04 squad that played his heart out...too all those haters....AI is the real deal so get off him
